Outback Tours
Beautiful One Day
Stawell Aviation Services offer a wide variety of outback tours from which to choose, each one different and unique. Travelling in light aircraft enables us to visit many areas not readily accessible by other means.
The tours are conducted during the Australian winter months which usually offer excellent flying conditions and cloudless skies in Northern Australia, allowing us to show you our wonderful country at its very best.
Spectacular the next
Along with the spectacular outback scenery and large numbers of wildlife, including wild pigs, crocodiles, donkeys, camels, dingos and brumbies we visit many areas that do not have road access, including the Prince Regent Gorge, Walcott Inlet, and the Horizontal Waterfalls which can only be seen from the air. The vast areas of the Kimberley and the Pilbara, the massive area of Lake Argyle, Ayers Rock, the unique Bungle Bungle ranges and the Great Australian Bight are best viewed from the air.
We cross the harsh gibber stones of the Sturt Stony Desert, the vibrant red sandhills of the Simpson Desert and the vast expanses of the Great Victoria Desert, visiting remote aboriginal communities, station properties, and many famous outback towns along the way.
Safety & Comfort
Our aircraft are all equipped with personal headsets and intercoms that enable communication within your aircraft and the other five or six aircraft that usually make up our groups. Our aircraft are maintained to a very high standard and all of our pilots are highly experienced in outback operations.
